Job Title: Payroll Team Leader

Adecco UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Team Leader to join their team in Cambridge.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this position is £18.28.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the payroll team and be responsible for all associated payroll duties, including employment-related payments to staff, pensioners, and ensuring statutory, contractual, and legislative requirements are met.

You will process seven payrolls and three pay frequencies while supervising two payroll administrators and communicating with various levels of staff and external bodies such as HMRC and auditors.

This role requires a strong payroll background, preferably gained within a large and complex organisation, with knowledge of current and past payroll legislation and procedures, including year-end processes, P11ds, statutory payments, and attachment of earnings orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and procedures
  • Experience working with payroll software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
