Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is currently working with the University of Cambridge to recruit a Payroll Team Leader on a temporary contract. This role is part of the payroll department within the finance division.

This role deputises for the Payroll Manager and supports in the management and operation of all seven payrolls, providing training and management of the payroll administration staff. You will be responsible for directly managing 2 members of staff and deputising regularly for the Payroll Manager in their absence.

With approximately 24,000 employees paid over 15 payrolls and five pay frequencies, experience of dealing with volume payrolls in a management capacity is essential for this role. In-depth knowledge of current and past payroll legislation and procedures, including year-end processes, is also required.
