Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the Neurodevelopmental pathway multi-agency team, providing specialist support to colleagues on neurodevelopmental issues.

The Neurodevelopmental Pathway Coordinator role involves leading the development and implementation of a diagnostic pathway for children with neurodevelopmental difficulties, providing specialist support to colleagues, and taking a key role in liaising with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children/adolescents with both a neurodevelopmental difficulty and a mental health condition.

The ideal candidate will have a Masters level qualification or equivalent experience, up-to-date Professional Registration, and a strong commitment to respecting and displaying the Trust Values. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • To work as an integral part of the Neurodevelopmental pathway multi-agency team
  • To lead the development and implementation of a diagnostic pathway for children with neurodevelopmental difficulties
  • To provide specialist support to colleagues on neurodevelopmental issues
  • To take a key role in liaising with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children/adolescents with both a neurodevelopmental difficulty and a mental health condition

Requirements:

  • Masters level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Up-to-date Professional Registration
  • Demonstrable post-qualification experience in direct clinical work in the Neurodevelopmental field or in CAMHS at senior practitioner level

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
