Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodevelopmental Pathway Specialist to join our team at the Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist support to colleagues on neurodevelopmental issues, liaising with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children/adolescents with both a neurodevelopmental difficulty and a mental health condition.

The main duties of this role include working as an integral part of the Neurodevelopmental pathway multi-agency team, leading the development and implementation of a diagnostic pathway for children with neurodevelopmental difficulties, and providing training to other professionals to improve neurodevelopment health knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality services for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs.
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in neurodevelopmental care.
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, ensuring information is up-to-date and secure.
