Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, working with children and young people with Autism/Social Communication disorders and related neurodevelopmental conditions.

About the Role
  • To develop and implement specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment plans, evaluating outcomes and contributing to individual education plans and annual reviews.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services, prioritizing needs and managing caseloads effectively.
  • To contribute to legal documents, including Education, Health and Care Plans and Annual Reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with Specialist Nurses, other AHPs, and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve best outcomes for clients.
Requirements
  • A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent, with registration with the HCPC and membership of the RCSLT.
  • Significant experience in early language difficulties, Social Communication disorders (ASD), speech disorders, dysfluency, selective mutism, and preschool/clinic service areas.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with ability to travel independently across Bridgewater Trust.

Salary Information

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
