Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a clinical lead for the Halton & Warrington Community Learning Disability Teams.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available within the North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where you will be responsible for providing strategic and clinical leadership for the delivery of Enhanced Intensive Support (EIS) services.

The post holder will contribute specialist psychological knowledge and leadership to support teams in providing assessments, therapy, and risk management for individuals with learning disabilities and complex presentations.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide strategic and clinical leadership for the EIS function across the Halton & Warrington CLDT.
  • To ensure interpretation and integration of complex data from various sources.
  • To carry a specialized caseload of clients with complex, severe, and enduring challenging behaviour and other psychological problems.
  • To provide expertise, advice, and support to other professionals.
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Practising Psychologist.
  • Training in a specialist therapeutic modality.
