Clinical Leadership Role in Community Learning Disability Teams

This is a highly specialized clinical leadership role within the Community Learning Disability Teams, requiring expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and risk management. As a Senior Psychologist, you will lead the Intensive Support Function, providing strategic and clinical oversight to support individuals with complex presentations, including challenging behavior, autism, and forensic difficulties.
The successful candidate will have up-to-date professional registration, post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, and experience in specialist psychological assessment and intervention. You will contribute to the development of highly specialized clinical psychology interventions and manage a caseload of clients with complex needs.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments and developing risk management plans for individuals presenting with high-risk behaviors. You will also participate in the development of service policies and guidelines, contributing to the team's overall success.
The salary for this position is estimated at £62,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
