Mental Health Specialist for Older Adults

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults with functional mental health conditions in a community setting.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with older adults with functional mental health diagnoses, in a community setting. They will be responsible for supporting introductions into the Living Well Team, identifying the needs of older adults with mental health needs who live within the local community, and designing and implementing person-centred support to enable people to live their best life.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification for the post, such as a Diploma in Nursing or a Degree in Mental Health Nursing. They will also have post-qualification experience in the relevant field and experience of working with older people with functional mental health diagnoses.
