Job Summary

The Scotsman Hotel is seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team at our luxury hotel in Edinburgh. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and providing a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, including data input and account charging.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for guests, handling their enquiries and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • With a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed guest expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • A strong understanding of booking systems and ability to work accurately with data.
  • Availability for shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to providing a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
