**Job Title:** Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager

**Job Type:** Full-time, 8-month temporary contract

**Location:** Birmingham, with hybrid working (2 days WFH)

**Salary:** Up to £650 p/day

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team at James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engagement strategies to effectively communicate with key stakeholders, serving as a primary liaison between internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Engagement Strategies: Craft and execute communication plans that meet the needs of stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and collaboration across different platforms and audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, transport sector professionals, and other relevant parties.
  • Communication Planning: Work closely with leadership staff to ensure internal messages are aligned with external communications and strategic goals.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, adjusting as necessary to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a senior communications role, with a focus on stakeholder engagement in a complex political or technical environment.
  • Strategic Communication Planning: Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans that drive engagement.
  • Interpersonal and Relationship-Building Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Government Experience: Experience working with or within government, transport, or related sectors is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with Local Authorities: Familiarity with the structures and functions of local and regional authorities is an advantage.
