We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Manager to lead our community engagement and interface function in the West Midlands region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering our community engagement strategy, community commitments, and interface requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the community engagement and interface function, working collaboratively with the joint venture team and other stakeholders to create, plan, deliver, and measure effective stakeholder engagement and interface.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies that drive value and protect and enhance the reputation of the HS2 project, the Balfour Beatty VINCI joint venture, and parent companies.
- Manage and coordinate community relations and stakeholder management activities, ensuring effective communication and engagement with communities around construction activities.
- Work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential community risks and issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, local authorities, and other project partners.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on community engagement and interface activities.
- Proven experience in community engagement and stakeholder management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience of working on large building/civil engineering infrastructure projects and/or in the construction industry.
