About the Role

The successful candidate will work in the heritage team and collaborate with colleagues across the company. The role involves:

  • Developing statements of significance for historic assets, including listed buildings, conservation areas, and historic landscapes.
  • Assessing impacts of developments on heritage sites and advising stakeholders such as clients and local authorities.
  • Preparing desk-based assessments to evaluate archaeological prospects and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in or willingness to develop expertise in GIS and townscape assessment.

The heritage team has worked on high-profile sites such as national galleries and museums, historic broadcasting facilities, iconic cultural centers, and castles and historic landmarks.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2:1 in relevant fields such as Archaeology, History, Conservation, or Town Planning.
  • Post-graduate degree and IHBC-recognized course desirable.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Prior experience in the heritage field is a plus.
