About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in urban design, architecture, or related fields to contribute to our projects. You will be responsible for analysing site contexts, identifying viewpoint locations, and providing commentary and advice on visual impact.

You will work closely with architects, visualisation specialists, and planning consultants to prepare planning applications and listed building consent applications. Additionally, you will attend site visits and meetings, primarily in London, but potentially outside the city as well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients and design teams on design development for new proposals;
  • Working with architects and visualisation specialists to analyse site contexts and identify viewpoints;
  • Preparing planning applications and listed building consent applications;
  • Attending site visits and meetings;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as a townscape and/or heritage consultant;
  • Qualifications and experience in the built environment sector: architecture, urban design, planning, historic environment;
  • A high standard of written English;
  • A good understanding of architectural design and architectural history;
  • Critical / analytical ability;
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines to high standards of work quality;
  • The right to work in the UK;

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including discretionary annual bonuses, a company pension scheme, private medical insurance, and more.
