About This Role

This position involves providing specialized support for archaeological and heritage aspects across various multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support and Reporting: Creating high-quality, research-backed reports and managing project deliverables in line with established guidelines.
  • Site Work and Assessments: Conducting site visits, surveys, and setting assessments for project insights and reporting.
  • Consultation and Client Communication: Liaising with statutory bodies and clients to provide archaeology and heritage guidance, often in collaboration with senior colleagues.
  • Technical Competencies: Skills in data analysis (e.g., heritage data, LiDAR), various survey techniques, and management of subcontractors are required.
Requirements
  1. Educational Background: Degree in archaeology or heritage is essential.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in heritage data analysis, surveys, assessments, and mitigation strategies is crucial.
  3. Project and Client Management: Ability to manage project deliverables, site assessments, stakeholder communications, budgets, and timelines.
  4. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK planning systems and relevant heritage legislation is necessary.
  5. Personal Qualities: Proactive, solution-focused, and committed to ongoing professional development.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, reflecting the level of experience and qualifications required for this role.
