The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Specialist - Family Care to join our team in delivering high-quality healthcare services to families and children in the community.

This role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies to provide seamless care to children and families.

  • You will be responsible for assessing child and family needs, using appropriate assessment and risk assessment tools, and developing outcome-focused care plans.
  • You will also support breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships, applying the Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess child and family needs, using the appropriate assessment and risk assessment tools.
  2. Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans, evaluating care given in partnership with clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Health Visitor role within the last 2 years.
  • Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and up-to-date knowledge of current Health Visitor practices.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a car.
