We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Guildford. This role is responsible for leading the Healthy Child Programme (0-5) and ensuring every child has the best start in life.

About the Role:

  • Routine involvement in working with families with new babies from late pregnancy up to five years of age.
  • Use expertise and training to identify needs and determine risks, working with clinical and public health colleagues to provide necessary support early on.
  • May work with at-risk or deprived groups such as homeless individuals, addicts, or travellers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support and advice for families in their homes.
  • Facilitate clinics and groups with professionals like early years practitioners, children's social care professionals, GPs, school nurses, allied health professionals, and voluntary services.
