Job Overview

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with our dynamic internal communications team to create a transparent, engaged, and informed workforce. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class colleague communication and engagement experience aligned with our business strategy and values.

  • Overseeing the maintenance and development of the SMR intranet as the central hub for internal communications.
  • Creating and publishing engaging content, including regular updates via Poppulo.
  • Curating and managing a comprehensive calendar of internal communications activity, ensuring seamless alignment with our corporate objectives.
  • Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to acquire compelling content and insights.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will collaborate with the Head of Internal Communications and other key stakeholders to guarantee our communication strategies inspire a connected and motivated workforce. Essential responsibilities include:

  • Bolstering a robust stakeholder network across the business within six months.
  • Designing and maintaining a well-structured calendar of internal communications activity.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Substantial experience within an Internal Communications environment.
  • Proven expertise with tools like SharePoint and Poppulo.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, enabling you to convert complex information into captivating content.
  • A forward-thinking and inventive mindset, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

Remuneration and Benefits

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of £55,000 - £67,000, plus a performance-based bonus, a generous pension plan with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions, private medical insurance, and a flexible benefits allowance.
