Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Care Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT. As a key member of our Positive and Safe Team, you will play a vital role in delivering training sessions and supporting staff teams who provide care to individuals exhibiting acutely behavioural disturbance and/or psychological distress.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families. You will be required to work across two Trusts (DCHS & DHcFT) delivering a variety of training sessions as well as working in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training sessions on simulation training and teaching/training methods
  • Support staff teams in clinical practice
  • Represent the Trusts in promoting training and support strategies in the reduction of restrictive practices
Requirements
  • Hold a Teaching qualification or relevant experience
  • IT literate: competent using Microsoft office and able to understand training planning data
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to equal opportunities and equal access
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
