About the Role
We are hiring a HR Administrator to join our team in Cambridge. This is a part-time opportunity that offers a competitive pro-rated salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Process:
- Process recruitment approval paperwork and gain relevant sign-offs
- Set up and create vacancies in the HRIS and Arcus website
- Advertise vacancies on job boards
- Assist in screening and shortlisting applicants
- Schedule interviews
- On-Boarding Process:
- Prepare standard employment contracts for review
- Schedule new joiner start dates and coordinate inductions
- Set up on-boarding in HRIS
- Administer background screening and employment reference checks
- Enrol employees in compulsory training
- Issue standard end of probation letters
- Payroll Administration:
- Update the monthly payroll changes spreadsheet with new joiner details, leaver details, promotions, and pay rises
- Update the EOR portal changes
- Upload required payroll documents to the 3rd party payroll platform
- Benefits and Training Administration:
- Respond to employee queries about benefits
- Submit new joiner forms to 3rd party benefits providers
- Add or remove scheme members, updating payroll as necessary
- Update the annual employee reward record on HRIS
- Administer the holiday trading scheme, processing applications and drafting employee letters
- Action elective training requests and issue standard documentation
- Schedule and administer commercial training sessions
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Some previous experience in a general administration role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Respect for confidentiality of personal and company information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with effective problem-solving skills
- Proficient technical ability and aptitude

Hours:
21 hours per week
Salary:
£16,200 per annum (pro-rata), based on a full-time equivalent of £27,000.
