Healthcare Assistant - Supporting Children with Complex Needs

We are recruiting a skilled and empathetic individual to support students with severe and complex needs in our inclusive school.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with students, providing personal care assistance, monitoring medical needs, and offering emotional support to create a safe and happy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist students with daily living tasks, including toileting, changing, and feeding.
  • Medical Needs Monitoring: Monitor and attend to medical requirements, such as tube feeding and medication administration.
  • Emotional Support: Build positive relationships with students and provide emotional support to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Safeguarding and Health and Safety: Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and health and safety are maintained at all times.
Salary and Benefits:

A competitive salary of £85-£95 per day, plus opportunities for professional development and career progression, is offered.

Requirements:
  • Basic Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures
  • Relevant Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or Teaching Support.
