**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at an SEN school in Shropshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people with varying learning difficulties, including autism and complex medical conditions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in interactive learning, promoting personal development, and ensuring the curriculum is achieved for the best possible outcome for the students within the academy. They will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff, health staff, and other professionals to undertake educational activities and attend to the education, personal, and social needs of the students.

The role requires someone who can build good relationships with children, teachers, and parents, cope with challenging behaviors, and encourage engagement and inclusion. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing quality care are essential.

**Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs or in the care sector
  • GCSE grades 9-4 (A-C) in English and Maths
  • Motivated and punctual individual with excellent communication skills
