Learning Support Assistant for Students with SEMH Needs

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work in Special Educational Needs schools in Shropshire.
The students in these schools have either Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH), Complex Learning Disabilities, or an Educational Need or Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
The ideal candidate will work 1:1 or conduct group sessions with students with ASC and/or SEMH Needs, following the school curriculum and classroom teacher guidance.
The Ideal Candidate:- Has experience in Special Educational Needs.
- Has graduated with any degree relevant to Special Educational Needs or Education.
- Is willing to take responsibility to support children with additional needs and adapt to meet those individual needs.
- Able to create and maintain strong relationships with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals, and the local community.
An estimated salary of £22 per hour. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
Protocol Education requires applicants to have the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
