Job Title: Student Well-being Advocate

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Student Well-being Advocate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the mental and emotional well-being of students with SEN and SEMH needs.

You will work closely with students, teachers, and families to identify individual needs and develop tailored support plans.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them build emotional resilience and well-being.
  • Assisting students with coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
  • Helping students develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment.
  • Working closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualised support plans.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence among students.
  • Supporting students to manage their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required.

Salary: £84-95 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
