Your Role: As a Well-being Support Worker, you will be working closely with students, teachers, and families to provide the support and encouragement necessary for students to succeed both academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Offering one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them build emotional resilience and well-being.
  • Assisting students with coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
  • Helping students develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment.
  • Working closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualised support plans.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence among students.
  • Supporting students to manage their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required.
