Job Summary:

A dedicated Learning Support Assistant is sought to join a Special Educational Needs school in Shropshire, providing individualized support to students with Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH), Complex Learning Disabilities, or Educational Needs/Educational Health Care Plans.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work 1:1 or in groups with students, following the school curriculum under the guidance of the Classroom Teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience in Special Educational Needs, a relevant degree, and be willing to take responsibility for supporting children with additional needs.

Salary and Benefits:

This role offers an estimated salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include professional development opportunities, competitive pay scales, and a supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as Special Educational Needs or Education
  • DBS check and overseas police checks for those outside the UK
