This position involves providing essential support to the sales and account management teams within the DIY sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Trade/DIY sales and account management teams by developing customized point-of-sale materials, manuals, and guides tailored to client accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Trade/DIY and KF Operations managers to organize and coordinate meetings and events for the sales and account management teams.
  • Manage visitor logging for stakeholders visiting the head office.
  • Process requests for uniforms and personal protective equipment for the sales teams.
  • Create line plans for customer accounts managed by the Trade/DIY sales and account management teams.
  • Oversee the ordering, packing, and delivery of promotional materials and tools for sales events.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from Trade/DIY and KF stakeholders.
  • Support the CBG sales and account management teams with territory optimization using the Geo-Plan platform.

Communication:

  • Engage with the Sales Development team through regular meetings with the Trade/DIY Operations Manager, KF Operations Manager, and Sales Training Manager.
  • Participate in weekly sales and account management team calls, providing operational updates and insights on key business activities.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly business activity reports for the Trade/DIY and KF sales teams.
  • Circulate updates on incentives to the Trade/DIY and KF sales teams.
  • Compile and share the monthly SherWINS communication with both sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver monthly updates from the sales support team during SET team meetings, utilizing a structured communication approach.

Salesforce Management:

  • Develop and share action plans for KF sales team customer accounts using Salesforce.
  • Manage reporting on KF action plans, providing updates to the KF Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular team calls with Sales Operations Managers and CRM Manager to continuously enhance sales team operations.
  • Coordinate and manage Salesforce dashboard configurations in collaboration with Trade/DIY and KF Operations Managers and the CRM Manager.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement practices to enhance communication strategies that boost product and sales performance awareness.
  • Download and archive ad-hoc Salesforce reports to assist in reviewing activities for both sales teams.

Customer Focus:

  • Assist the Trade/DIY sales and account management teams in developing customer business plans.
  • Manage and coordinate customer communication regarding CPI, including data transfer, printing, and dispatching letters.
  • Create communication decks for KF customers in alignment with the KF Operations Manager.
  • Oversee the setup of new starters with HR and security teams to ensure proper access to systems.

Chip Management:

  • Coordinate and manage purchase orders for color chips on a quarterly basis.
  • Analyze color chip stock levels, including out-of-stock items, old stock rotation, and overstock management.
  • Facilitate the order process across the UK, France, and Poland.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in chip order management, including finance and marketing teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level of GCSE or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a sales team environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the DIY industry.
  • Background in sales with proven selling skills.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Merchandising expertise.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving sales performance.
  • Knowledge of Sherwin-Williams brands and products.
  • Understanding of the Sherwin-Williams markets, including KF, Trade, and DIY.
