Job Title: Legal Administrator

About Our Client:

We are a well-established legal firm based in Glasgow City Centre, renowned for providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are currently seeking an additional dedicated Legal Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and handling general enquiries
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Using the case management system to generate client invoices
  • Processing expenses and ensuring accurate records
  • Managing client payments and maintaining up-to-date business rates
  • Opening legal files and maintaining accurate records
  • Uploading and sending Terms of Business to clients
  • Performing ID checks and compliance processes
  • Assisting in drafting basic lease management and lease variation documents
  • Ordering legal searches and obtaining copies of title deeds

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience within a legal based role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using case management systems (desirable)
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Knowledge of legal processes and terminology

The following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

  • Experience with drafting legal documents
  • Familiarity with property law processes
  • Knowledge of compliance procedures
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
