As a key member of the Sumo Logic team, you will play a critical role in driving our commercial growth strategy in the DACH market. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and delivering exceptional sales results against your quota.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join a rapidly expanding company and contribute to our success in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Based in the UK, you will be selling to the DACH market, targeting, managing, and closing deals within a defined territory.
  • You will be responsible for prospecting and generating fresh leads to fill Sumo Logic's pipeline, as well as closing and processing all prospects throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Creating and delivering accurate sales forecasts is also a critical aspect of this role.
  • In addition, you will perform product demos using web tools to prospects and customers, and expand current accounts by identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of Outside Sales experience selling B2B applications; on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management
  • Fluent German speaker
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment
  • Contact network within the Big Data ecosystem
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Teamwork and good communication skills are essential
  • Salesforce.com power user
