Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Centre Manager in driving sales and customer service excellence.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
- Manage daily operations, including stock control, inventory, and customer transactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a retail or automotive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical and mechanical knowledge or experience.
- Valid driver's license.
