Fleet and Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fleet and Business Development Manager to join our team at Toyota. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing Fleet and Business prospects, working with individual Business's and Customers to understand their needs, and guiding them towards the most appropriate products and agreements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Line Manager with duties such as managing the Display and professional standards at the Centre, helping train and develop the Retail teams, reviewing Mystery shops, and promoting Fleet referrals within showrooms.
- BUILD RAPPORT AND QUALIFY CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS by promoting the benefits of John Roe Group and our commitment to Customer Excellence, talking and listening to customers to build rapport and understand their requirements – both their stated and unconscious needs.
- COORDINATE ORDER AND DELIVERY by liaising with Fleet Administration to ensure product availability fits with customer's expectations, placing the order, updating customer records, and scheduling any complementary Services/additional work to be completed on the vehicle.
- BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS DURING AND FOLLOWING HANDOVER by meeting the customer to personally hand over the vehicle where possible, ensuring that each delivery is followed up with a personal call to check the customer is happy, and maintaining contact with customers to build relationships and future business.
- DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS TO WIN NEW BUSINESS by planning and organising own daily selling activity, using Fleet Portal to create regular review appointments, and completing activity sheet daily to discuss opportunities and workload with team and Line Manager.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of success and achievement of targets in a sales environment
• Good standard of education with a qualification in Maths and English
• Previous experience of customer service delivered to a high standard
• Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service/people skills
• Polite, calm, and approachable personality
• Must be a team player
• Ability to work on own initiative or with minimum supervision
• Must have flexible 'can do' approach
