The base salary for this position is £23,063.04 per annum, with the potential for upgrade to £25,565.54 upon completion of a Level 4 diploma.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Specialist to join our team in Dorchester. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high levels of support and guidance to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

  • Experience of working with children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties;">
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotational basis;">
  • Excellent communication and listening skills;">
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with young people;">
  • Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or a related field, or be willing to work towards one;">
  • Full UK driving licence and car ownership, as travel is required;">
