Therapeutic Activities Lead

Harmeny Education Trust Limited is seeking an experienced Outdoor Learning Facilitator to join our team. This permanent, full-time position involves providing high-quality outdoor learning opportunities for children with complex social, emotional and behavioural support needs.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver outdoor learning programmes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for children.
- Collaborate with the Harmeny Outdoors Team, Care and Education staff to provide a range of outdoor learning, adventurous and environmental activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, using therapeutic approaches to help them overcome challenges.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure the safety of children and staff during outdoor activities.
- Relevant qualification in outdoor education, youth work, or equivalent experience.
- Nationally recognised leadership or coaching qualification and experience leading groups in outdoor activities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive fleet vehicles.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues.
- A competitive salary of up to £31,961 per annum, based on experience.
