About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker in Leek, Staffordshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people and be part of a dynamic team that provides a supportive and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, and be able to provide a high level of care and support to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to young people to encourage them to take responsibility for their own lives.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment in the residential home.
  • Deal with challenging behaviors in a safe and sympathetic manner.
  • Protect young people from risks to their health and welfare.
  • Support young people to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of young people's care plans, guidelines, and reward systems.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide a high level of care and support.
  • Valid driving license and ability to transport young people.
  • Over 21 years old.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People is desirable.
