Job Title:

Housing Business Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Officer to join our Housing Options team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, including record keeping, managing incoming calls, and arranging temporary accommodation for housing options customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to the Housing Options team, including record keeping and data entry.
  2. Manage incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Arrange temporary accommodation for housing options customers, ensuring that their needs are met and their safety is ensured.
  4. Attend meetings and take minutes, ensuring that all actions and decisions are accurately recorded.
  5. Procure goods and services, create and input service spreadsheets, and manage filing systems.
  6. Process invoices and set up rent accounts, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  7. Take financial payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a high level of IT competency in using Word and Excel.

Working Arrangements:

During the training period, the successful candidate will be required to work in the office 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. Once training is complete, hybrid working will be available.
