Business Support Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support professional to join our team at Proper Tasty. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative assistance, ensuring smooth operations within the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answering telephone calls and handling customer orders with excellent phone etiquette
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
  3. Inputting supplier invoices into Xero
  4. Completing stock checks and orders

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, or similar role
  2. Experience in handling a wide range of administrative tasks
  3. Experience of Xero would be an advantage but not essential

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  2. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

Job Details:

  1. Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
  2. Pay: £11.44-£12.44 per hour
  3. Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
  4. Additional pay: Bonus scheme, Performance bonus, Yearly bonus
