Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Manager in Maternity Services to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality administrative services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of administrators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative services across maternity departments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective communication, consistency, and standardization of clerical and administration processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of administrators, developing and implementing strategies to improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the administrative team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development: Support the professional development of team members, including training, coaching, and mentoring.

Salary and Benefits

Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Level 3 or higher qualification in a relevant subject, such as administration or IT.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in administration and clerical roles, with a focus on line management and team leadership.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a basic understanding of medical terminology and data protection regulations.
