Job Title: English Senior Practitioner

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Practitioner to join our Cared for Children service in Tameside.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will contribute to ensuring timely care and permanence planning for children, achieving this through professional and reflective supervision, supporting staff learning and development, and producing high-quality work to improve outcomes for our cared-for children.

You will be an experienced practitioner with a high level of skills and knowledge who models good practice and is passionate about achieving good outcomes for children.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and commitment to contributing towards our vision of meeting the holistic needs of our cared-for children.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the delivery of high-quality care and support services to children and families
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on child care and protection issues
  • Supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child care and protection

Salary: Scale 35 - £44,711 to Scale 39 - £48,710 (plus professional grade development bar)
