We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team at CPJ Recruitment, where you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and expansion of our waste management services.

**Job Overview:**

  • This strategic role involves building relationships with high-spending customers and providing tailored waste management solutions.
  • You will be responsible for developing account plans and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling other services to maximize incremental growth.

Our client is a leading national waste service management provider renowned for delivering reliable services and solutions to a diverse range of customers. They have an impressive track record of sustainability credentials, setting the bar within the industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing and executing business development strategies to drive commercial growth and expansion.
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Sustainability Managers, Procurement, Environmental Managers, and C-Level executives.
  • Cross-selling and up-selling other services to existing clients to maximize revenue growth.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in business development or sales, preferably in the waste or FM services sector.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.

**Package Details:**

  • Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • Bonus structure: 20% OTE (on-target earnings).
  • Car allowance or company car (hybrid): £500 per month.
