CES Locums is seeking a Female Support Professional to join our team in Dorset, providing support to adults with learning disabilities in their own homes.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, particularly those living in their own homes and young active females who may exhibit self-harming behaviors.

This role involves working remotely, so local residence or the ability to commute within 45 minutes is necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing support to adults with a learning disability in their own homes and in the local community.
  • Offering specialized care for a young active female who may be experiencing self-harming incidents.
  • Sleep-in duties may be required, involving overnight stays at the service user's residence.
  • A varied schedule including day shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts.
  • Assisting with medication administration, although this is limited as the service user manages their own medications.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Certifications like the Care Certificate, Medication Management, and PBS are essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and fluency in English are also required.
