Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Emergency Care Directorate, ensuring seamless patient care and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Communication: Respond to telephone enquiries from patients, families, and other agencies in a professional, helpful, and sensitive manner, using discretion and judgment to resolve queries.
  • Documentation Management: Process ward documentation admissions and discharges efficiently, utilizing WPAS to manage referrals, waiting lists, and appointments for all patients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including case-notes, their content, and other relevant documentation, adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
  • Stationery and Supplies: Monitor and maintain stationery supplies for the ward, ensuring timely replenishment and efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Maths/English GCSE or equivalent experience is essential; NVQ 2 in administration or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in AMU clerical/office/reception/ward duties is required, with a proven track record of working effectively in a busy environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team, and proficiency in WPAS/Casenote tracking/Stream/Symphony/EAS are essential.
