Job Title: Deputy Nurse Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and leading nursing staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and overseeing training and development of nursing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead nursing staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Oversee training and development of nursing personnel, conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and oversee patient care plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess residents' health status, assisting in clinical decision-making and problem resolution.
- Foster effective communication among healthcare team members and collaborate with other departments.
- Ensure compliance with care home policies and procedures, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
- Manage nursing resources efficiently, participating in budget planning and control.
- Identify areas for quality improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Provide leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring appropriate skill mix and staffing levels. Facilitate ongoing training and development for the nursing team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- NMC Registered
- Experience working in a care home environment.
