Job Title: Leading Specialist in CAMHS Learning Disability Services

We are seeking a highly experienced specialist to lead our CAMHS Learning Disability Services team, providing expert guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, demonstrating a deep understanding of best practices and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the CAMHS Learning Disability Services team, driving innovation and excellence in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills in learning disability-related issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support and coordination of services.
  • Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to child and adolescent mental health and learning disabilities or relevant further training.
  • Substantial experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, with a strong track record of leading teams and driving service improvement.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in the field.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
