Job Summary:

Tara Professional Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Autism Learning Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and health professionals to provide individualized support and promote personal development for students with autism and other special educational needs in Shropshire schools. About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with learning difficulties and be able to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents. Key responsibilities will include assisting in interactive learning, coping with challenging behaviors, and promoting personal development for students aged 2-11. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to utilize solution-focused thinking and maintain high-quality best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students with autism and other special educational needs
• Assist in interactive learning and promote personal development for students aged 2-11
• Build good relationships with children, teachers, and parents
• Coping with challenging behaviors and encouraging engagement and inclusion
• Utilize solution-focused thinking and maintain high-quality best practice

Salary:

This is a competitive opportunity with a salary of around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive training and ongoing support.
