Job Title: Development Officer

We are seeking a skilled Development Officer to join our team at an established and growing Housing Association. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality homes, working closely with the Head of Development and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a Degree qualification in construction or property development, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in delivering new build or social housing projects. They will also have experience in development scheme feasibility studies, financial appraisals, and negotiation and coordination of building contracts.

As a Development Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of development are managed efficiently and effectively. This will include coordinating scheme design, detailed design, preparation of contract documentation, planning negotiations, and reviewing and assessing contract performance.
