Engineering UK is seeking a skilled Community Development Officer to join their team in Belfast. This part-time role, 18.75 hours per week, will involve empowering local individuals through skills development, career guidance, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with teams across Engineering UK and client organisations to raise awareness of social impact commitments, supporting reporting and data analysis requirements.
  • Identify beneficiaries who meet project criteria and promote social value initiatives to them.

The ideal candidate will have good planning skills, excellent attention to detail, and high standards. They should be confident in the use of Microsoft 365 and have a flexible approach to managing varying workloads.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 2 qualifications in line with the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) for England and Northern Ireland.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to upholding confidentiality and understanding/empathetic towards supporting people who have been convicted of crime/impacted as a victim of crime and/or have lived with trauma.
Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum
