We are seeking a skilled Communication Officer to support the Commissioner and Chief Executive in their work, contributing to delivering our vision for Northern Ireland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop effective communication strategies and collaborate with colleagues to deliver impactful projects.
About UsThe Commission for Victims and Survivors is a statutory body promoting the interests of victims and survivors of crime. Our mission is to ensure their voices are heard and rights respected.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing materials for meetings and events to support the Commissioner and Chief Executive.
- Assisting in developing and implementing communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote our work.
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver projects that meet the needs of victims and survivors.
- A degree in communications, public administration, or social sciences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt tone and style.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a public sector organisation.
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
