Industrial Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Sales Professional to join our team as a Field Sales Specialist, covering the London and South East of England territory.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success in the manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or industrial sectors, with a strong understanding of abrasive products and their applications.
This is a permanent role with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 (80% basic & 20% OTE), offering a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-user customers to optimize their production processes, delivering market-leading productivity savings and safety improvements with our abrasive products.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by increasing market share through competitive new end-user conversions.
- Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities and close wins as required.
- Utilise the Customer Relationship Database SF.com (accounts, activities, opportunities, profiles, contacts) as a territory management and sales planning tool.
Requirements:
- Good negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Ability to build relationships and operate in a complex organisation.
- Strong communication, questioning and listening skills.
- Strong persuasive influencing skills.
- Organised with ability to work with others and alone to deadlines.
- IT literate - Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. SF.com.
- Pro-active, driven, results-focused self-starter with a passion for sales and exceeding targets.
- Tenacious and resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective.
