A leading industrial engineering company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join their sales team in the South England region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of accounts, fostering positive relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders, including mechanical consultants and account managers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and exceed sales targets.
- Proactively resolve conflicts and provide timely solutions to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Set and achieve KPIs, leading by example in sales performance and contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a sales or business-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a proven track record of success in sales development and account management.
- Strong technical understanding of the HVAC industry and ability to communicate complex ideas to clients.
- Excellent relationship-building and maintenance skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
