Special Educational Needs Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary SENCo to join our dynamic one-form entry school in a thriving area of Hertfordshire. As the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop strategies to support children with special educational needs, driving inclusive learning environments and adapting teaching methods.
- Collaborate with teachers to create effective support plans for each child, regularly assessing their progress and impact.
- Develop and oversee personalized support plans, providing ongoing training and support for staff to enhance their understanding of special educational needs.
- Liaise with parents to provide regular updates on their child's progress, advocating for the rights of students with special educational needs within the school.
- Assume a leadership role, collaborating with colleagues to drive change and improvement in SEN provision, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
