Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Technician to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Medical Device Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out receipt, disassembly, cleaning, disinfection, inspection, reassembly, packing, sterilization, and sterile product release of medical devices (surgical instruments).

You will work closely with Senior Decontamination Technicians to ensure that all medical devices are properly cleaned and sterilized, and that they meet the required standards for use in patient care.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
